About St Mary's Baseball Club

St Mary's Baseball Club has been part of the Western Sydney sporting landscape since 1964. For more than sixty years, generations of local families have come through our gates, learned the game, and stayed connected to a club that has become a genuine fixture of the St Marys community. Players who once took their first swings here now bring their own kids down to do the same.

We're a volunteer-run club built on the idea that baseball should be welcoming first and competitive second, and that the two aren't in conflict. We field teams across junior and senior grades, from first-timers picking up a glove for the very first time through to experienced players chasing a finals run. Our coaching is structured around proper skill development, so every player, whatever their age or starting point, gets a real shot at improving season on season. Pitching, catching, fielding, batting, base running: we teach the fundamentals patiently and build from there.

More than six decades in one community counts for something. The club has grown alongside St Mary's itself, and that long history shows up in the way people look out for one another here. Parents become coaches. Players become volunteers. Families who started with one child end up involved for years. The club gives local kids a place to belong, somewhere to build friendships, confidence, and a love of the game that often lasts a lifetime.
